Birdsboro Elementary Center is participating in Pennies for Patients to raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society from February 3rd-24th. We encourage you to bring in any pennies/change to donate.
Today, Mrs. Herb’s class had a special visitor. Toby, the miniature horse came to BEC. A big thank you goes out to Maddie Cooper and her parents for arranging this. Maddie’s parents own Shady Hollow Farms, a nonprofit riding academy that helps children learn and love horses. The entire 5th grade got to visit with Toby and to learn about him and how he is cared for.

Our 5th grade is exploring CAREERS this month! Elementary school is a crucial time for developing career awareness and instilling a culture of self-empowerment. Our 5th grade took Career Interest Inventories and discovered what careers fit them best based off of their interests!
