Amity Intermediate Center is located about 45 miles northwest of Philadelphia along the southern border of Berks County, within 15 minutes of Reading to the north and Pottstown to the southeast. Amity Intermediate provides for active learning experiences in art, music, and exploration or "hands-on" experiences in science, and environmental education. There are over 200 computer workstations housed at AIC, with a computer lab for general computer instruction and an additional lab to support the Compass Learning initiative. Children in grades three through five, living in the Amity area, attend AIC. |
