As the school counselor, I have wonderful opportunities to work with all students at Amity Intermediate Center. The Guidance program is a total encompassing program which reaches all children in some aspect.  I visit each classroom approximately four times a year. Our lessons center on the themes of conflict resolution, peer relationships, career awareness, and personal safety. Watch for specifics in the Announcement section of my homepage.

I will also be setting up small lunch groups that center on specific topics. Information about these will be coming home in October. The lunch bunches are informal and fun, but help students develop school success skills.
