Boone/Weiser Middle School Baseball Game of April 29 
Cody Mitchell and Anthony Limone hold the plaque the eighth-graders won at the Pennsylvania Middle School Computer Fair held April 23 at the Berks County Intermediate Unit. Mitchell and Limone won second place in the Digital Movie category for a commercial they filmed for The Boone Tribune. The commercial, entitled “Messing With Boone,” advertised the middle school newspaper to students and was shown on the school announcements. Mitchell and Limone were two of several DBMS students to compete in the event with the help of computer teacher Tara Desiderio. “Messing With Boone” included a song written and sung by students. Sixth-grader Andrew Baer also competed in the Digital Movie category, and seventh-graders Rebekah Slattery and Shannon Rothharpt competed in the Computer Fair Logo category.
