Mr. Aaron Sborz, Principal
It is with tremendous honor and pride that I introduce myself as the Principal of Daniel Boone Area High School. Since coming to the Blazer community in 2015, I have had numerous wonderful opportunities to meet many of our stakeholders and strengthen the Blazer Learning Community here at DBAHS. One of my first goals is to increase lines of communication within our community. We will be rolling out a more interactive high school webpage at www.dboone.org. Additionally, I will be providing daily updates and information on twitter @PrincipalSborz.
A student’s high school career is an exciting and daunting time for parents. At DBAHS, we will continue to build a supportive and collaborative environment for our students and parents. Parents, I challenge you to stay active in your student’s school life, even in the face of their attempts to assert their independence from you as they grow and mature into responsible young adults. Please utilize the Home Access Center found in the parent portal to foster open communication regarding your student’s performance. In doing so we can create an active and engaging school community that promotes a safe and positive learning environment.
As your school leader, I strive to make decisions based on what is best for your children’s academic, social, and emotional well-being. I feel fortunate to have this opportunity to serve the Blazer Learning Community and look forward to maximizing each student’s potential.
Thank you and Go Blazers!

Hello Daniel Boone Students, Parents, and Community:
I am excited to be a part of the Blazer community! I started at Daniel Boone Area School District on July 1st. I have met a number of staff members, students, and parents since my arrival. We will continue to put student achievement at the forefront and move our district forward.
I started my educational journey as a middle school math teacher at Northwest Middle School in the Reading School District. Northwest Middle School was a model school for the state of Pennsylvania. I enjoyed my teaching experience from 2006-2011.
Since the 2011-2012 school year, I have held a variety of administrative positions. Those titles include Assistant Elementary Principal, Assistant Middle School Principal, Elementary Principal, and High School Principal.
Outside of school, I am married to my wife, Holly. We have a 2-year-old son, Carson, as well as our newborn son, Milo, born August 2019. We also have a 4-year-old black lab, Bella.
The 2019-2020 school year will be a special one. I encourage you to make this school year wonderful. Please call or email at any time.
Your Partner in Education,
Mr. Chris Becker

Dear Blazer Family,
I am excited to be starting my second year here as the Assistant Principal for grades 10 and 12. The students, staff, and community here are truly exceptional and make Daniel Boone Area High School and School District a unique and rewarding place. We have dedicated, passionate, creative, and empathetic people within our community that I feel honored to work with and serve. This year brings about changes for the Blazers and we are excited to continue to serve the students and families as we all grow through our own individual educational journey. This year we will continue to welcome feedback, suggestions, and maintain an open-door policy for students, parents, and staff. My motto for all students is to work hard, be respectful, and do your best. We as the administrative team and the staff here will always be available to serve.
Prior to my time here, I spent ten years as an English teacher, coach, and club adviser at Pennridge High School in Bucks County. I am a graduate of Penn State University and West Chester University and have certifications in English, Social Studies, Science, and as a school administrator. I currently reside in Bucks County with my wife, two children, and our two dogs. We are an active family who loves the beach, books, theater, and sports.
As we look ahead to 2019-2020; I am excited to welcome all of our students to the high school and wish everyone a great year. Go Blazers!
Mr. Frank Flanagan
