James Towers, Principal
Welcome, and thank you for visiting our middle school website! I am honored to be leading our middle school as we work together to grow our diverse learners in a safe environment.
In addition to our exceptional academic programming, we offer a variety of extracurricular and co-curricular clubs and activities. Technology Student Association (TSA), Band, Chorus, Reading Olympics, seasonal sports teams (grades 7-8 only), and Girls on the Run are just a sampling of the great opportunities at the middle school.
We are very proud to be part of the Blazer Learning Community. I encourage our parents, guardians, extended families and the greater community to be involved, too. Please reach out and we can all work to ensure Daniel Boone Area Middle School continues to be an exceptional place to grow and learn.
Amy Dombrowski, Assistant Principal
Dear Daniel Boone Teachers, Students, and Parents,
It is with great enthusiasm that I move into the role of Assistant Principal at Daniel Boone Area Middle School. I started my time as a Blazer as the Assistant Principal at Daniel Boone High School. Though I am relatively new to Daniel Boone, I am not unfamiliar with the area. I currently reside in Boyertown and am a Boyertown Senior High graduate. I completed both my undergraduate and graduate degrees at Kutztown University and received my administrative certificate from Edinboro University.
My educational career started at Whitehall High School in the Lehigh Valley. I transitioned to the South after meeting my husband and spent about 15 years teaching at the high school level and 2 years as a middle school Assistant Principal. Outside of school, I am married to my husband Ommannan and have two children Jackson,13 and Sydney, 10. We are a proud military family with lots of experiences and stories to share.
Middle school is such a special and exciting time in a student’s life. I'm looking forward to working with students and their families to give everyone the best Daniel Boone experience possible. Incorporating the community and other stakeholders into the Daniel Boone family to help give our students a true community experience is also one of my goals. We are returning to a traditional school year on the heels of a terrible pandemic that may not yet be over, so there may be challenges ahead. My goal is to work with teachers, parents and students to tackle those challenges as best as we can, while still delivering the quality education Daniel Boone is known for.
The 2021-2022 school year will be my 21st year in education and I am thrilled to be at Daniel Boone Middle School. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
