    Custodial Departments

    Custodial services are contracted through SSC Services for Education. SSC provides one full-time manager and 40 employees tasked with providing service excellence in keeping all Daniel Boone Area School District (DBASD) school and administrative buildings clean, safe, and functioning to provide staff and students with excellent facilities to cultivate life skills in a positive learning environment.

    Facilities Maintenance, Grounds, Landscaping, and Snow Removal

    Maintenance, grounds service, landscaping, and snow removal services are completed at all DBASD buildings and grounds by Halter Landscaping (Birdsboro, PA). The company was founded by Nathanial Halter in 2009.  Halter Landscaping’s motto is “Taking care of your property like it is our own.”  Halter Landscaping was approved by the DBASD School Board in July 2019 and continues through June 2022 for a three-year contract to tend to all district grounds and handle all snow removal efforts.  Halter Landscaping’s commitment to the DBASD community to improve school grounds shows their ability to provide safe and functional grounds and areas; so that the school can handle transportation for our students and staff in difficult weather and support our outdoor sports and activities at DBASD Buildings and Stadiums.
