On Friday, May 2, 2025, the 8th Grade Band and Chorus from Daniel Boone Area Middle School (DBAMS) showcased their musical talents at the Music in the Parks Adjudication Festival held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This annual event brings together student ensembles from across the region to perform and receive evaluations from experienced adjudicators.
The DBAMS Band earned a 3rd place finish with a rating of Excellent, while the Chorus achieved a 1st place finish, also with an Excellent rating. These accolades reflect the students' dedication, hard work, and musical excellence.
In addition to their performance awards, DBAMS was honored with the prestigious Esprit de Corps Award. This award recognizes the ensemble that best exemplifies positive attitude, support, teamwork, and outstanding behavior throughout the festival day.
Following their performances, students enjoyed an afternoon of fun and camaraderie at Hersheypark, celebrating their achievements and the culmination of their hard work.
