Mandatory practices begin:
High School - August 12
Football and Golf - August 5th
Middle School - August 19

Good Morning,
I am writing to inform you that we performed a Lockdown DRILL at Daniel Boone Area Middle School today at 9:07 AM. In conjunction with District Security and the Amity Township Police Department, our students, teachers, and staff did a great job practicing the lockdown procedures . We thank everyone involved for their time and efforts. The DRILL concluded at 9:12 AM and we are continuing with our day.

Congratulations to middle school cheerleader Madison Ruffner! She is headed to Orlando, Florida this week to compete in the D2 Summit Championship with her Allstar Cheer team, Phoenix Allstars!!

DBAMS Music Department: 8th Grade in the Parks
On Friday, May 3rd, the 8th Grade Band and Chorus traveled to Hershey, PA to participate in the Music in the Parks Adjudication Festival. Both ensembles delivered their best performances of the year to receive strong feedback, "Excellent" ratings, and strong scores from the festival evaluators. 8th Grader, Amelia Shelgren, was also named as Outstanding Vocalist for her solo in the chorus performance. Following the competition, the students enjoyed beautiful weather while exploring Hersheypark during the afternoon hours before traveling back home! Congratulations to all our 8th Grade Musicians!

Hope for Youth Impacted by a Loved One’s Substance Use. Caron offers support for youth ages 7 to 17 that helps them know they are not alone.
Caron’s Youth Education Program is here to help these youth understand what their loved one is facing, to offer them ways to cope, and to build their support system so they can thrive.
Location: Daniel Boone Middle School (please have your child meet us in the main office)
Dates & Time: April 20th, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
