🏈 Today we wrapped up our week-long Daniel Boone Football Youth Camp for students in Grades 1-8! From July 22-25, our young athletes worked hard to develop their football skills and build meaningful relationships. DBASD Commencement Postponed: Thursday, June 6th Unfortunately, with a comprehensive review of the impending predicted weather conditions. In an abundance of caution, we will be delaying the Commencement ceremony for the Class of 2024 until Thursday June 6, at 7pm. Seniors will report to auditorium through door 1 at 6:15pm, gates to the stadium will open at 6:30pm.

Good Afternoon On Wednesday, June 5th, Daniel Boone Area Middle School will be holding the Eighth Grade Recognition - all students will be recognized at this Ceremony. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. and the Ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. We ask that guests be limited to two per student, as seating is limited in the Auditorium. The event will also be streamed live. ***At the conclusion of the ceremony parents may sign their children out early from school. Good Morning, I am writing to make you aware of an incident that occurred at the Middle School this morning. While in the main office, a student inserted a metal object into an outlet causing the outlet to malfunction. There was smoke but no fire and alarms were never triggered. The Fire Department and Amity Police responded immediately to assess and it was determined to be contained and there was no need to evacuate the building. Guardians of the student involved were notified and proper care was administered.

In conjunction with District Security and the Amity Township Police Department, our students, teachers, and staff did a great job practicing the lockdown procedures .
