Good Morning, At approximately 10:35 AM this morning, an ambulance arrived at the Middle School in response to a student needing medical attention. The decision was made to hold students in their current class until the situation was resolved, which was approximately 11:06 AM. This necessitated adjust the schedule by a few minutes to make sure students received their full lunch period. The reminder of the day is scheduled as usual. Thank you Jim Towers - Principal

DBAMS Chief Science Officers Quentin Hart(7), Jasmine Dunning (7), AnnaBeth Glass(11), Sadie Marderness (7), and Rhys Kline (7) participated in the Leadership Training Institute for Chief Science Officers. The students honed their leadership skills and styles and wrote an action plan to engage students at DBASD in STEM. Stayed tuned for what these leaders have planned. Good Afternoon, Tomorrow there is a Nationwide Emergency Alert Test scheduled to take place at 2:20PM. We are anticipating hundreds of phones going off at the same time tomorrow and we are bringing it to everyone's awareness to minimize panic. Included is the Press Release from FEMA confirming this is their plan. We hope this helps minimize the disruption tomorrow.
