July 8 - July 13 No Track, Stadium or Turf Access. Thank you for your patience as our track is being resurfaced! Track will re-open July 14 (Dates may change depending on weather conditions)

The Daniel Boone Area School District will close its stadium, including the track and turf, from Tuesday, July 8 through Sunday, July 13 to complete Phase 1 of a resurfacing project. During this time, contractors will pave and spray a pre-layer that is essential to the final track surface.

The application requires a full week to cure properly, and for safety reasons, the stadium will be off-limits to all users throughout the closure. District personnel will place signage and caution tape around the facility to ensure the area remains secure.

If weather conditions cooperate, the stadium is scheduled to reopen on Monday, July 14. However, because the work is weather-dependent, delays may occur, and the community is encouraged to watch for updates on the district’s website and social media pages.

Once the pre-layer has cured for two weeks, crews will return to spray the final track surface, which will require another temporary closure. Details regarding that phase will be shared as they become available.

The district appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as these important improvements are made to the stadium facility.
