Stay safe while riding! 🚲🛴

With the increased use of e-bikes and scooters, it’s important for students and families to review basic safety guidelines before heading out. Please take a moment to look over the E-Bikes & Scooters Safety Guidelines poster to make sure everyone understands the rules for safe and responsible riding in our community.

Wearing a helmet, following traffic laws, and riding with awareness can help prevent accidents and keep everyone safe. Thank you for helping us promote safe habits both in school and around town.

Poster titled “E-Bikes & Scooters Safety Guidelines” with the slogan “Ride Smart. Ride Safe. Ride Respectfully.” The poster lists safety rules for students using electric bikes and scooters. Rules include obeying traffic laws, wearing a helmet if under 16, riding in bike lanes instead of sidewalks, and riding only one person per bike or scooter. Safety tips include wearing bright clothing, staying alert, checking brakes and tires, and slowing down in school zones. On school grounds, students should walk their bikes or scooters, avoid riding through parking lots or sidewalks, and use bike racks to secure equipment. The poster ends with the message that safety is everyone’s responsibility and includes the Daniel Boone logo and the phrase “Be safe. Be smart. Be Boone Proud.”
