Prinicpal Sborz and two DBAHS students stand in front of the stage at the RACC commencement ceremony

Daniel Boone Area High School is proud to celebrate the achievements of seniors Abigail Beltz, Meadow Fleckenstein, and Haley Wagner, who graduated from Reading Area Community College (RACC) with associate degreesβ€”before receiving their high school diplomas.

These three students participated in RACC’s Dual Enrollment program, which allows high school students to take college-level courses and earn credits that count toward both high school and college graduation requirements. By leveraging this opportunity, Abigail, Meadow, and Haley demonstrated extraordinary commitment, time management, and academic excellenceβ€”balancing the demands of both high school and college coursework.

The RACC commencement ceremony was held on May 9, 2025, at Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, marking a major milestone for the college’s 53rd graduating class.

All three were recognized at the ceremony for their remarkable achievement. Their success serves as an inspiration to fellow Blazers and highlights the meaningful outcomes possible through early college experiences.

The Dual Enrollment program offers significant benefits to students, including reduced college tuition costs, early exposure to rigorous academic expectations, and a head start on postsecondary goals. For students motivated to challenge themselves, programs like this open doors to advanced educational and career opportunitiesβ€”well before high school graduation.

Daniel Boone Area School District congratulates these students on their extraordinary accomplishment and is grateful to RACC for its partnership in helping students reach their full potential.
