🍦✨ Our 4th graders at the IC enjoyed a sweet treat to celebrate their hard work on summer math!

This summer, Mrs. Amy Kunkel, our IC math interventionist, created a math packet to keep problem-solving sharp. Students who completed and submitted their packets were rewarded with a tasty surprise, thanks to the generosity of our PTC.

👏 A big thank you to Mrs. Kunkel for organizing, to our PTC for the treats, and to our 4th graders for keeping their math brains growing all summer long! 💙💛

⚾ Talk about a special moment! Jameson, one of our Intermediate Center students, was at the Philadelphia Phillies game with his family last week when he snagged his very first foul ball. Instead of keeping it, he made the day unforgettable for someone else—gifting the ball to a woman nearby who was celebrating her 80th birthday 🎉.

What an incredible act of kindness, Jameson—you’ve made us all #BooneProud with your big heart! 💙

💡 Our 4th graders are problem solvers!

Students in Mrs. Shutts’ class took on the challenge of finding solutions for issues around our school. This innovative crew came up with the idea of creating an alternate recess space for students who are injured or have temporary mobility restrictions—ensuring everyone can still have fun and be included.

Way to go, Blazers! 👏💙

Students in Mrs. Reigner's gifted class are being challenged to think with a growth mindset. Part of their learning was contemplating the words of wisdom from famous folks and then extending that learning to create their own unique growth mindset quote.
