Congratulations to Middle School students Rebecca Alford, Sadie Gill, Taryn Moser, Layla O'Reilly, and Ember Krim on completing their Girl Scout Bronze Award — one of the three highest awards a Girl Scout can earn! ⭐️
For their project, the girls researched, planned and advocated for the construction of two new softball dugouts on Field 40 at Amity Community Park. After presenting their ideas to DBAA and at two Township meetings, they worked with their families and community supporters to turn their vision into reality. The dugouts were completed in August! 🥎👏
Their accomplishment was featured in the Reading Eagle and Mercury, and now it's time to celebrate! 🎉
