Keeping accounts up to date helps us close out the year smoothly. Any balances remaining unpaid after June 30th will be sent to a collection agency.

Thank you for your attention to this important end-of-year reminder!

As we approach the end of the school year, all students are reminded to please return any library books before the last day of school. Returning books on time helps make sure all materials are accounted for and ready for students next year.

Today we celebrate Mrs. Beth Williamson and her 20 years of dedicated service as the Administrative Assistant for the Middle School Counseling Office. Her impact reaches far beyond her role—touching the lives of students, families, and colleagues every single day.
Mrs. Williamson reflects on the many friendships she’s built over the years as one of the most meaningful parts of her journey. Those connections, paired with her daily interactions with students, parents, and staff, helped her grow into a resourceful problem solver and a steady, compassionate presence in the building.
She hopes to be remembered for her kindness, strong work ethic, and her willingness to step in and help wherever needed—often before anyone even asked. Most recently, Mrs. Williamson was honored with the Sweet Impact Award, a testament to the admiration and respect she’s earned from her peers.
Her favorite memories span from helping decorate and chaperone 8th grade dances, to watching students grow from their first day of middle school to their final walk toward high school. She fondly recalls the excitement of the Blazer Olympics, the joy of working alongside colleagues who make even the busiest days fun, and her involvement with the Sunshine Committee—spreading positivity and appreciation throughout the school year.
As she looks ahead to retirement, she’s excited to travel with her husband, spend time at the beach, and enjoy more moments with her family, including her new grandson—along with gardening and soaking up the outdoors.
Thank you, Mrs. Williamson, for your compassion, positivity, and the lasting impact you’ve made on our school community. Wishing you a joyful and relaxing retirement! 💙 #BooneProud

After 22 years of dedication to our students and school community, we’re celebrating the incredible career of Mr. Paul Ruzicka as he prepares to retire at the end of this school year.
Mr. Ruzicka began his journey at Daniel Boone in the 2004–2005 school year as a 7th grade math teacher before moving to 8th grade, where he continued to make a lasting impact in the classroom. Beyond teaching, he spent 14 years coaching 7th grade baseball—building not only strong players, but strong relationships.
When reflecting on his time at Boone, Mr. Ruzicka points to the people as the most meaningful part—supportive colleagues, dedicated leadership, and countless extraordinary students. His “highlight reel” is filled with everyday moments: meaningful classroom interactions, shared laughter, and the camaraderie formed on and off the field.
Throughout his career, teaching shaped him as much as he shaped his students. He developed patience, empathy, and the ability to break down complex ideas—skills that extended far beyond the classroom. His thoughtful approach and commitment to understanding each student left a lasting impression.
Mr. Ruzicka always believed that if he could positively impact even one student, he had succeeded. Over the years, it became clear that his influence reached far beyond that—evident in the many former students who have stayed connected long after leaving Boone.
As he looks ahead, he’s excited for a new chapter filled with a slower pace and more time to enjoy each day.
Thank you, Mr. Ruzicka, for your years of dedication, impact, and heart. Wishing you all the best in your well-earned retirement! 💙 #BooneProud
