💙🥕 Community Kindness in Action 🥕💙

At our December 22nd Giving Market, we were incredibly grateful to receive a generous donation of fresh produce from one of our middle school students, David, as part of his Bar Mitzvah project.

With the support of his mom, David has focused his project on community service, making a meaningful impact in many ways. In addition to this produce donation, David has provided school supplies to families in need, organized a coat and clothing drive, and will be working with Opportunity House to continue serving others.

Our Giving Market attendees were so thankful for the fresh produce. Thanks to the abundance, we were also able to share with the greater Boone community by stocking the community fridge at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Birdsboro.

We are proud of David’s compassion and commitment to helping others—his kindness truly reflects the spirit of Boone.

❄️ Wishing You a Joyful Winter Break! 💙

As we head into winter break, we want to take a moment to wish all of our Blazer families a season filled with joy, rest, and moments that warm the heart.

This year’s district holiday card — distributed to all DBASD staff — was designed by Ninaluz Munteanu, Class of 2029. Her playful snowman, festive trees, and hand-drawn swirls beautifully capture the creativity, spirit, and heart of the season.

As we wrap up 2025, we are grateful for the dedication, care, and community spirit that make Daniel Boone such a special place. Your support makes a lasting impact on our students, our schools, and one another.

From all of us at the Daniel Boone Area School District — Happy Holidays and a wonderful New Year! We can’t wait to see what 2026 brings.

🎶✨ Spreading Holiday Cheer Across Boone! ✨🎶

On Tuesday, December 16th, the Select Chorus and Jazz Band from DBAMS took their talents on the road, visiting both the Intermediate Center and the Primary Center as part of a special Performance Tour.

In between performances, students enjoyed lunch at McDonald’s—and even surprised the staff with a song as a heartfelt thank you! 🎤💙

Our DBAMS music students loved sharing their talents and spreading holiday cheer with our younger students and community partners. What a wonderful way to celebrate the season!

Our Buddy Breakfast on Saturday was so much fun! 🥞🎄

Hosted by our amazing Blazer Buddies, families enjoyed yummy pancakes and sausage, decorated cookies with the German Club, wrote letters to Santa with SADD/DBTI, created crafts with the Interact and Ecology Clubs, made slime with our Unified Ambassadors, and even snapped photos with Santa thanks to our Blazer Media team! 📸🎅

What a fantastic morning of smiles, teamwork, and holiday cheer. Best of all, all proceeds were donated to our Giving Market, which provides free food, clothing, and personal care items for our Boone families and community.

‼️ Our next Giving Market is TONIGHT, 12/22, at the high school from 4 PM - 6 PM. Enter through Door #10. We hope to see you there!

💙 Blazers Give Back! 💙

Today, members of the DBAHS Student Government made the rounds to each building across the district to collect donations for our Giving Market — and the response from our Blazer community was incredible!

The Giving Market is a district-wide initiative that offers free non-perishable food, personal hygiene products, and other essential items to Boone families and community members — no registration, no cost, just support for those who need it.

Thanks to your donations, the shelves are stocked and ready to make a difference. We’re proud of our students for leading this effort and grateful to our entire community for stepping up!

📅 The schedule for the 2026 Giving Market will be announced soon.

💬 Interested in supporting the market? Reach out to Ashley Griffith, District Wellness Coordinator, or Lisa Kieke, Community Relations Specialist.

Together, we are building a culture of kindness, compassion, and community — one Blazer Moment at a time.

A group of high school students exit a school building with bright yellow-framed doors, smiling as they carry donations. One student in front holds a large Home Depot box, while another carries a Trader Joe’s paper bag. Others follow behind, some wearing festive accessories.
Four high school students load large boxes of donations onto a yellow school bus on a rainy day. One student lifts a box onto the bus while the others wait in line, standing near a brick school building with an American flag flying above.
High school students sit on a school bus with large donation boxes and grocery bags filled with items beside them. The students smile and relax after completing collection efforts, with festive holiday headbands and a rainy day visible through the windows.
A group of high school students stand inside a school lobby near the library, posing with smiles and large donation boxes. Behind them are signs displaying the “Blazer Rules” — Be Respectful, Be Positive, Be Responsible, Be Safe — and a vending machine labeled “Blazer.”
