Never rush through these lights—students may not always wait for the red lights to activate before crossing. Remember, the bus will not block the intersection. 🚦 Important reminders: Do not turn left in front of the bus if students are loading on the right; they may be coming from all directions. Wait until the red lights are OFF before moving your vehicle. Let’s keep our kids safe on their way to school! We had 707 students in costume filling the hallways of our high school, collecting candy from 18 different school clubs! 🍬 So many great costumes this year! The danger zone is a 10-12 foot area around the bus where the driver may not see you. Here’s how to stay safe: ✅ If you drop something near the bus, don’t try to pick it up! Alert the bus driver instead. 🚫 Never run after a missed bus. Once it’s moving, it’s never safe to approach. 👀 Always make eye contact with the bus driver before crossing or entering the bus. This ensures they see you and that it’s safe to move. 🛑 While waiting, stand back from the road until the bus has completely stopped. Let's work together to keep our kids safe!
