#TBT to the Class of 1983 🎓
Straight from the yearbook: “FRIENDS—we have made it! Our metamorphosis is complete…”
The Class of 1983 captured the very heart of what high school is all about: friendship. From weekend hangouts to quiet talks, from laughter to tears, their reflections remind us that long after the tests and textbooks fade, it’s the friendships that last forever.
As we count down to graduation day for the Class of 2025, may they carry the same love, laughter, and lifelong connections into their next chapter. 💫

🎉 Blazer Legacy Spotlight: Anita Brady 🎉
Celebrating 21 years of learning, laughter, and love—2 years in Kindergarten and 19 unforgettable years in 1st grade!
For over two decades, Anita Brady has been a joyful and steady presence in the lives of Daniel Boone’s youngest learners. With a heart full of patience and a classroom full of curiosity, Anita helped her students build strong foundations—not just in reading and math, but in confidence, kindness, and resilience.
📚 One of her favorite memories?
“The year I looped with my Kindergarten class to 1st grade! Day 1 was a breeze—we all knew what to expect from each other.” That unique experience brought extra joy and connection, a hallmark of Anita’s teaching approach.
Throughout her career, Anita embraced the opportunity to work with a diverse population of students and families. “It helped me understand the importance of looking at individual needs—not just for students, but for their families too.” Her empathy and insight touched lives far beyond the classroom.
💡 Words she hopes her students carry with them:
“Never let the fear of being wrong or making a mistake hold you back.”
🎬 Highlight Reel Moments:
A blooper reel of tech struggles (“How many times do I have to be reminded to make a copy of a document so I don’t accidentally edit the original?” 🙈)
Warm memories of laughter with teammates
Countless "aha!" moments as little learners blossomed
Classroom joy, morning routines, and lessons that will last a lifetime
🏖️ What’s next?
Beach trips after Labor Day (no crowds!), spontaneous travel, and the simple joy of never having to worry about driving in the snow again.
Anita, thank you for 21 years of heart-filled teaching. Your dedication, humor, and impact will ripple through generations of students. Wishing you joy, adventure, and warm sand in your toes in this next chapter.

➡️ If a balance is due, be sure to submit payment by the last day of school.
🔔 Important: All unpaid accounts will be sent to G.H. Harris Associates, Inc. for collections at the end of June 2025, and additional fees will apply once an account is turned over.

Thank you for your attention and continued support!

🎉 Blazer Legacy Spotlight: Pat Smith 🎉
Celebrating 21 years of dedication, laughter, and learning!
From computer lab to math intervention, Pat Smith has left a meaningful mark on the Daniel Boone Area School District. Over the past 21 years—10 as a computer teacher at the Middle School and Primary Center and 11 as a K–1 Math Interventionist—Pat’s impact has reached across generations.
Some of her favorite memories include Trick or Treat nights at the high school, the end-of-year graduate parade through the Primary Center, and older students mentoring younger ones. But one moment will always shine brightest—when the entire Primary Center surprised her with a celebration for her 60th birthday. 💙
Pat reflects on the power of community connections and relationships: from math groups to casual chats at pickup, she’s built bonds that have shaped her both professionally and personally. Her goal has always been to instill a love of learning and to support every child as a whole person—academically and emotionally.
📽️ Highlight reel moments:
The call from MaryAnn Traynor saying “you’re hired!”
Aides like Debbie, Tina, Alison, and Sandy who made that first year unforgettable
The long drives up Route 422 (always hoping for no lane closures!)
Watching technology evolve—from towering monitors to tiny iPads
That universal elementary school milestone: losing a tooth 😄
Receiving a Blazer Foundation grant to bring a special assembly to the Primary Center
The daily joy of reciting the PAWS pledge and seeing little faces light up with understanding
As Pat says, “You never stop learning. Each day brings new beginnings and challenges.”
⛳️ What’s next? Retirement means saying “yes” to golf on weekdays—and lots of it!
Thank you, Pat, for your years of heart and service. You’ve given our students so much to smile about—and we hope your next chapter brings even more joy.
#BlazerLegacySpotlight #BooneProud #ThankYouPat

#TBT to the Class of 2015 🎓
Ten years ago, these seniors proudly shaped a "15" on the court—capturing a moment that symbolized both unity and the start of their journey beyond Boone. The world has changed in the last decade, and so have they, but the bond shared in those high school halls will always remain.
As we count down to the Class of 2025’s big day, we celebrate the legacy left behind by those who came before. Here's to the Class of 2015 and the paths they’ve paved since graduation. 💙
