DBAHS Academic Challenge: 2024 Berks County Champions Congratulations to our HS Academic Challenge team for winning the Berks County Championship! This was the first time in 21 years that we have won this championship. Our Academic Challenge team will be going to Harrisburg on April 26h to participate in the state championship. The team is led by seniors, Landon Herzog (Captain), David Alexander (President), and Matthew Lore. They are advised by Ms. Jones, Will Harding, Markus Hudock, Landon Herzog, McCartney Woulard, David Alexander, Chris Landis, Austen Kennedy, & Matthew Lore #DBBlazers

DBAHS PIAA Swimming: Top 10 Finishers Congratulations to all of our swimmers on a great season. This past weekend, we had two three top ten finishers! DBAHS Boys Bowling: 5th Place @ States Congratulations to our Boys Bowling team for finishing 5th at States this past weekend. This was a great way to cap off a great season! #DBBlazers

DBAHS Student Recognition: Tyler Ferenz Congratulations to senior, Tyler Ferenz for winning Reserve Champion at the Reading Berks Science and Engineering Fair. He also won 1st in the Zoology Category. In addition he was presented with special awards from Penn State and from Element Environmental Solutions. Tyler will represent DBAHS at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in Las Angeles, CA in May! Keep up the great work! #DBBlazers

DBAHS Cheerleading: National Champs How sweet it is to be a Blazer! On March 3rd, Daniel Boone High School Varsity cheerleading earned the coveted “National Champs” title at the sweetest place on Earth - Hershey, PA. This was their last competition of the season and they ended it on a high note. It has been several years since the girls competed at such a high level, but with a new coaching staff and a new mindset, the girls worked hard and achieved a goal they set out for themselves at the beginning of the year! #DBBlazers

DBAHS Freezin 4 a Reason Thank you everyone who came out to our event and donated. Collectively we raised over $5,000. Your donations support an environment that promotes leadership, collaboration, and lifelong friendships. Unified sports are a fully inclusive program for students with and without disability in the areas of Track and Field and Bocce Ball. Your donations provided all students the opportunity to be included and represented by Daniel Boone Area High School. 2024 PIAA Swimming Championships: March 13th - March 16th Sending another congratulations and some well wishes to our swimmers this week! Shailla Mejia opens the day for us in the 50 free. She is swimming at 8:48 AM in the first group with the finals scheduled for 5:15 PM. She will also be swimming in the 100 Backstroke on Thursday at 10:54 AM with those finals scheduled for 9:15 PM. The boys are scheduled to swim on Friday and Saturday. We will provide more information closer to the time.
