Did you know that today is National School Resource Officer Day? Students in Mrs. Kelly Hillman's class did and made sure to celebrate our school resource officer, Mr. Kevin Alderfer. Mr. Kevin, as we affectionally call him, is often the first and last person our students see on a school day. Mr. Kevin is always ready with a warm hello, a hug, high five, or fist bump and we are lucky to have him!

She's at it again! Mrs. Hillman started a kindness campaign three years ago, naming her class the Kindness Squad. As a group, they spread positive messages, welcome students to school, and clean up the playground, among other awesome activities. Today, the squad cleaned up our playground areas. Thank you to Mrs. Hillman and her Kindness Squad!

UPDATE 9:28 AM: Power has now been restored.
--------
Good morning Intermediate Center Families,
The Intermediate Center lost power this morning, and is currently running with the help of backup generators. The building has heat, and we will continue the day as planned. In the event that we would need to dismiss early, we will communicate that as soon as possible. In the meantime, we are working to rectify the situation so that we can have a full school day.
Thank you, and we will update you soon.
Smiles all around for students at the IC! Pictured are students who earned 75 PBIS tickets; they cashed in for Donuts with Mr. Kevin or Pizza with Mr. Isselmann.
