K-8 iPad Refresh Information
In April, our grade K-8 students will receive a new iPad as part of our standard equipment replacement schedule. In previous years, students returned their iPads over the summer for upgrades. This process created substantial disruptions to summer academic programming, as well as left some students without access to academic tools. To address these concerns and disruptions, we are performing the refresh prior to the end of the school year. The Office of Technology Services oversees and manages all technology resources in the Daniel Boone Area School District. DBASD embraces technology as a catalyst that expands our ability to establish, explore, and enhance connections that are integral to learning.

The Director of Technology along with the Technology Services team coordinates the maintenance of all technology systems in DBASD schools including E-Mail, district websites, student and employee information systems, network infrastructure and security, and telecommunication systems. The department works with the administrators, teachers, and students to find, implement, and support the best choices in technology to support instruction in our classrooms.
