Notice is hereby given that the Board of School Directors of the Daniel Boone Area School District will consider and may take action at its public meeting on Monday, June 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., in the Board Room, 501 Chestnut Street, Birdsboro, PA 19508, to approve and award a Guaranteed Energy Savings Agreement pursuant to the Pennsylvania Guaranteed Energy Savings Act, 62 Pa.C.S. § 3751 et seq.
The proposed agreement is between the Daniel Boone Area School District and Trane U.S. Inc. The purpose of the agreement is to implement energy conservation measures and related facility improvements at District facilities, including HVAC, building automation, electrical infrastructure, emergency generator, retro-commissioning, and related energy and operational efficiency measures.
The recommended award amount is $4,400,763, subject to final contract terms and Board approval.
The proposal/report required under the Guaranteed Energy Savings Act is available for public inspection at the District Administration Office, 501 Chestnut Street, Birdsboro, PA 19508, during normal business hours, and/or through the District’s public Board meeting agenda materials.
