🔥🚒 This week we celebrated Fire Safety Week with a special visit from our local firefighters!
Firefighters from Amity and Monarch Fire Companies stopped by the Intermediate Center to share important fire safety tips and teach students about the vital role firefighters play in keeping our community safe.
Students even got a close-up look at the tools and equipment firefighters use in their daily jobs — a highlight of the day for many! 👩🚒👨🚒

Thanks to the hard work of our Career & Innovation Coordinator, Maria Rapchinski, Daniel Boone High School students are gaining valuable real-world experience before graduation!
Last year alone, Maria secured more than 45 internships for our students across the district and community. These opportunities give students the chance to explore career paths, build skills, and connect with professionals—all while still in high school.
