DBAHS Tennis Update: Sam Shank & Evan Miller
Congratulation to Sam and Evan for earning post season recognition! For the 3rd straight year, Sam was named a Berks 3A District Selection for singles and an to the All Berks County All Star team. Evan was named to the All Berks 1 Division Team. Together, as a Doubles Team, they were selected as Berks 3A District Representatives.

DBAMS Music Department: 8th Grade in the Parks
On Friday, May 3rd, the 8th Grade Band and Chorus traveled to Hershey, PA to participate in the Music in the Parks Adjudication Festival. Both ensembles delivered their best performances of the year to receive strong feedback, "Excellent" ratings, and strong scores from the festival evaluators. 8th Grader, Amelia Shelgren, was also named as Outstanding Vocalist for her solo in the chorus performance. Following the competition, the students enjoyed beautiful weather while exploring Hersheypark during the afternoon hours before traveling back home! Congratulations to all our 8th Grade Musicians!

DBAHS Music Department: Tri-M Induction Ceremony
On April 29th, the Daniel Boone HS Chapter of the Tri-M Music Honor Society welcomed 19 new members. The Tri-M Music Honor Society is a program sponsored by the National Association for Music Education which focuses on creating future leaders in music education and music advocacy. Tri-M recognizes students that have gone above and beyond both academically and musically, and it provides students leadership opportunities to make a difference in their community through music-based service projects. The induction ceremony was held at the MS and included several performances by returning members.
