🎉 Congratulations to DBAHS senior Kamryn Burmester on successfully completing her internship with Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center! 🏥💙 Kamryn interned in the Surgical Services Outpatient Interventional Unit, where she gained valuable hands-on experience—transporting patients, prepping rooms, and creating a calm, comforting environment for those in care. She also had the opportunity to observe a variety of medical procedures, including infusions, endoscopies, lab draws, lung biopsies, and even a C-section! 👏 We're so proud of Kamryn and wish her all the best as she pursues her dream of becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). 🎶🎉 On Friday, May 2, the 8th Grade Band & Chorus proudly represented DBAMS at the Music in the Parks Adjudication Festival in Hershey, PA! 🏅 The Band earned 3rd place with a rating of EXCELLENT, and the Chorus took 1st place, also with a rating of EXCELLENT! 👏 To top it off, DBAMS was honored with the prestigious Esprit de Corps Award, recognizing the school for demonstrating the highest level of positive attitude, support, teamwork, and outstanding behavior throughout the day. 🎢 After a fantastic morning of performances, students celebrated with an afternoon of fun at Hersheypark.
