Congratulations to junior Julia Leady who is the 2025 BCIAA Champion and All-County runner β and the first Daniel Boone athlete to win a county championship! ππ
Sophomore Sarah Shank finished 20th overall, helping lead the girlsβ team as they will send five runners to the upcoming District 3 Championships!
On the boysβ side, senior Dan Shank earned 6th place and All-County honors, with the boysβ team also qualifying five runners for Districts.

Weβre proud to share that June has been recognized by the Berks Business and Education Coalition (BBEC) for her outstanding performance during her internship!
June is currently interning with Heather Preletz at the Daniel Boone Area Intermediate Center and is also a dedicated student in Kutztown Universityβs Early Education Academy. Her hard work and passion for education truly shine through!

Madi is a Daniel Boone junior who will be helping to create some of the social media content youβll be seeing in the coming weeks. She plans to pursue a career in sports media and communications after high school and is already gaining valuable experience behind the scenes in our Communications Department!
Outside of school, Madi is a cheerleader for the Phoenix All Stars and has played lacrosse for the past 9 years. Weβre excited to have her on the team and canβt wait for you to see her work! ππΈ

π₯π This week we celebrated Fire Safety Week with a special visit from our local firefighters!
Firefighters from Amity and Monarch Fire Companies stopped by the Intermediate Center to share important fire safety tips and teach students about the vital role firefighters play in keeping our community safe.
Students even got a close-up look at the tools and equipment firefighters use in their daily jobs β a highlight of the day for many! π©βππ¨βπ

Thanks to the hard work of our Career & Innovation Coordinator, Maria Rapchinski, Daniel Boone High School students are gaining valuable real-world experience before graduation!
Last year alone, Maria secured more than 45 internships for our students across the district and community. These opportunities give students the chance to explore career paths, build skills, and connect with professionalsβall while still in high school.
